Bookings: Bookings can be made directly with the owners of The Marlowe via email or phone. To confirm the reservation you will need to send a cheque (non-refundable deposit) for 20% of the rental fee. The balance of the rental must be paid at least one month before your arrival. If the booking is made less than a month in advance, then the total rental cost is payable at the time of booking. Failure to ensure that such payment reaches us by that date may result in cancellation of the agreed rental period. Acknowledgement of Booking: On receipt of the deposit cheque, we will confirm your booking in writing or via email. We will also provide any further instructions and directions to the property. Cancellation: In the unlikely event that you have to cancel your holiday stay with us, we will endeavour to re-let the property, in which case all monies paid will be refunded (less non-refundable deposit of 20%) to you. If the property can not be re-let for your booked holiday period, then all monies will be forfeit. We strongly advise you to take out cancellation insurance to prevent this situation occurring. Arrivals & Departures: The property will be available any time after 4.00pm on the day of your arrival and will need to be vacated by no later than 10.30 on your final day of stay. Bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday, but weekend breaks and shorter stays can be arranged with the owners. Pets/Smoking: Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Pets can be considered (£25 extra cleaning charge). Assistance dogs allowed. Property Care: The Tenant/Holiday Maker must ensure that the premises and all furniture, fittings and effects within the premises are kept in the same state of repair and condition as they were at the start of the rental period. The tenant is to report any damage and may be liable to pay the value of anything damaged/destroyed. Hot Tub: For your pleasure we have positioned a beautiful hot tub with an outdoor summer house for your use at the property. Please can you ensure that the hot tub is not overloaded with more than 8 people at anyone time and also that great care is taken when using the hot tub. Due to the expense of the hot tub and its parts, we have provided a price list in the summer house of some of the parts, and unfortunately if any of the parts are not as they were left, then your party will be liable for the cost of replacing that part. Also, the hot tub is not secure from children, so it is your responsibility to ensure that any children do not enter on their own. We cannot be held responsible for their safety. Owners Access: If necessary, the owner (or representative) is to be allowed access to the property at any reasonable time during the rental period. Liability: The owners of The Marlowe have the relevant legal insurances required to run a holiday let. We do not however, under any circumstances, accept responsibility for loss of life, personal injury, damage or accident to belongings or vehicles. This must be the responsibility of the Tenant at all times. |
